The 2012 MTV Movie Awards may not have all the glitz, glamor and hype as say the Oscars, but it gives all those stars the Academy disregarded the honor and recognition their fans think they deserve.

‘Bridesmaids,’ for instance, didn’t take home any titles at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, but its star-studded cast is likely to snag at least one popcorn trophy by the end of the evening. But, unfortunately, so might Kristen Stewart. That’s the magic of MTV — body of work aside, both Kristens have the same chance of winning.

A couple of the awards were announced way before the show’s airing — ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ star Emma Stone received the MTV Trailblazer Award, while the Generation Award went to Johnny Depp — but did Jennifer Aniston win Best On-Screen Dirtbag? Clearly, that’s the most important moment of the night. See all the 2012 MTV Movie Award winners below.
