For a film franchise that prides itself on such a unique and innovative style, the last couple of posters for '300: Rise of an Empire' have been uninspiring at best. Thankfully, the popular Austin-based poster boutique Mondo has come to the rescue, revealing a one-sheet worthy of such a weird, violent and stylized film universe. But how can you get your hands on one? Well, you're going to have to attend a special '300' fan event.

Although the details have not been revealed yet, the poster and the event were announced by star Lena Headey, who returns as Queen Gorgo in the upcoming film. Along with revealing the new poster, the actress announced an "incredible opportunity for you to catch 13 minutes of never-before-seen footage from the upcoming film, followed by a special fan screening of the original 300 movie." Anyone who attends the event will leave with a poster to call their own.

Headey does not mention location, dates, times or how to obtain tickets, but she does say to stay tuned for the specifics. If this is like similar events that have taken place in the past, screenings will be held in select major cities, and tickets will be a hot item. So if you think you're going to want to attend (or if you just want the snazzy poster), keep your eyes and ears open.

'300: Rise of an Empire' will open for real on March 7, 2014. In the mean time, bask in the glory that is the new Mondo poster below:
