This week, our first look at the Millennium Falcon comes as part of an ongoing joke, Adam Driver shows up on set in something surprising, and a certain iconic Jedi may be getting his own movie.

Yes, there's something fantastic about the first footage of the Falcon on the 'Episode 7' set coming as part of the production's increasingly elaborate and cheeky social media war between them and 'Batman vs. Superman.' More of this, please.

'Episode 7' Set Photos Raise All Kinds of Questions

Everyone knows that Adam Driver is playing a bad guy in 'Star Wars: Episode 7,' so what's with all of those new pics showing him walking around the set in an X-Wing pilot uniform?

There are a couple of things to consider here. First, we could be completely wrong and Driver is actually playing a good guy! Or, he's a villain who's infiltrating the good guys by pretending to a pilot. Maybe he begins the film as a hero who ultimately betrays the heroes? Heck, could it be as simple as villains also piloting X-Wings? After all, the film does take place in a galaxy still in turmoil. What's to stop both sides from using the same ships?

Also, it could be J.J. Abrams and Adam Driver crewing with all of us and forcing us to question who he's playing. That one actually sounds the most reasonable.

Meanwhile, photos of additional extras began to show up all over Twitter. Combine them with the presence of the Millennium Flacon, tons of X-Wings and what appear to be all kinds of soldiers and pilots, and we can safely assume that this is some military installation. We almost wrote "rebel base," but then we realized that they really aren't rebels anymore, are they?

Speaking of this set, we know that John Boyega is there and we know this because this video contains audio of someone shouting his name and giving him direction over a megaphone. Oh, and Harrison Ford is expected to show up early next week. Start creating your crazy story theories now!

Is Obi-Wan Kenobi Getting His Own Movie?

For today's journey into "Unsubstantiated Rumor Land," a top secret source has dropped a bunch of little rumors over at Making Star Wars. However, among tiny little details and corrections, there's one nugget that should get every fan to prick up their ears. Here it is:

I’ve heard from quite a few people now that an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie is in the works. For the spinoff movies they were initially going to stay away from any Jedi or Sith characters. But I’m hearing now that because of the popularity of Obi-Wan (fans recently voting for him on the official website, etc.) that an art team is now working with a writer on concepts for an Obi-Wan movie.

The truth is that we have no idea what Disney is actually planning to do with their 'Star Wars' spinoffs. The Boba Fett movie is still a rumor. The young Han Solo movie is still a rumor. This Obi-Wan movie, if it's real, is still a while away from being made. Still, there's a cool movie to be made about Obi-Wan in the years between the prequel and original trilogy. Call in "Jedi on the Run" and make it a chase movie. Call us, Disney.

Director Rian Johnson Talks 'Star Wars: Episode 8'

While 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and the slew of spinoffs continue developing, there's also 'Episode 8' to think about, and director Rian Johnson is thrilled by how much creative freedom Disney and Lucasfilm are giving him. In a conversation with fellow filmmaker Terry Gilliam ('The Zero Theorem') on The Talk House podcast, Johnson dished on the experience working on such a project. Here are some highlights via The Playlist:

I’m just starting into it, but so far it’s been nothing but… honestly, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had writing. It’s just joyous.

The first movies I was making in my head were part of this world, so part of it is a direct connection —it’s almost like an automatic jacking-in into childhood in a weird way.

I’m figuring it out as I go. I’m dancing on top of the avalanche a little bit. But it’s a challenge of remembering what inspires you about [the original films], but I think you can probably go to the wrong place by feeling too responsible to it. You have to keep your head loose enough to tell a story you actually care about.

Kathleen and her whole creative team have been so insistent on all the filmmakers they’ve been hiring for these new movies: ‘We want you to take it and turn it into something that you really care about.’ And we’ll see how the process plays out, but so far, that’s a big part of the reason I’m [doing the film]. Because that just seems like their attitude towards it. It’s really exciting actually.

Would 'Star Wars' be 'Star Wars' without John Williams' iconic music? Nah. It would actually look something like the video below, which is awkward and hilarious. Try to not watch through your closed hands.

If you want to believe British tabloids, 'Star Wars: Episode 7' will contain a whole bunch of celebrity cameos. Big names like Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman. Yeah, don't believe this.

But one cameo has been confirmed. It seems that J.J. Abrams regular and character actor extraordinaire Greg Grunberg will pop up at some point.

And, finally, in news that should come with the subtitle "no sh*t, Sherlock," Disney is officially moving forward on producing 'Star Wars: Episode 7' toys. And a new 'Star Was' ride is being developed for Disneyland Paris. Yes, Disney plans to make extra money off of 'Star Wars.' Shocking, huh?
