‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Finale Synopsis Teases Ghost Rider at ‘World’s End’

All our skulls heat up with word that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Ghost Rider would reignite in time for Season 4’s finale, but the question remains how Gabriel Luna’s Robbie Reyes reenters the scene. Get a clue in the first synopsis for our “World’s End” finale, and see what other familiar faces are coming back!

Following word that the May 16 finale would see Ghost Rider back in the driver’s seat, Marvel and ABC revealed an official synopsis for the world-ending hour. In it, the language seems to imply that Robbie Reyes’ Spirit of Vengeance might actually emerge the week prior, while also listed among the returns is Adrian Pasdar’s General Glenn Talbot.

Gabriel Luna Guest Stars as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider

“World’s End” – With the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider, Coulson and the team attempt to stop Aida from ending the world on the exciting season finale of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, MAY 16 (10:00–11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

Guest starring are Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider, Mallory Jansen as Aida, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Jordan Rivera as Hope Mackenzie, Patrick Cavanaugh as Burrows, Zach McGowan as The Superior, Joris Jarsky as Sergei, Zibby Allen as Lt. Evans, Joel Stoffer as silhouetted man and Karole Foreman as waitress.

Curiously, we should also note that the synopsis still features Framework characters like Jordan Rivera’s Hope and Patrick Cavanaugh’s Burrows, but not Brett Dalton’s Grant Ward. In the meantime, Season 4 takes one more step toward the end with tonight’s “Farewell, Cruel World,” so stay tuned for the latest on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
