We quite liked the new direction 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' took its titular team in for this past week's season 2 premiere "Shadows," but will next week's "Heavy is the Head" keep the 'Avengers'-adjacent series in stride? Will we see the real Simmons once again? Find out for yourself with Raina (Ruth Negga)'s return in the first all-new clip, as well as the full photo gallery from 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 2's next episode!

You're warned of some minor spoilers from the season 2 premiere, but judging by the photos from next Tuesday's "Heavy is the Head," we're not quite sure what to make of Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge)'s continued presence alongside poor Fitz (Iain de Caestecker), revealed to have been hallucinating his departed friend since her leaving the team behind. Meanwhile, the first clip from the hour sees Raina looking to make a deal with the fledgling S.H.I.E.L.D. 2.0, something Coulson might have to consider to keep the mysterious "obelisk" out of Hydra hands.

Here's how ABC describes next Tuesday's all-new 'Agents of SHIELD' installment, "Heavy is the Head":

Hunted and running out of solutions, Coulson puts his team right in the line of fire in the hopes of saving them all. But with General Talbot, Hydra and Creel all on the attack, can they possibly survive? Meanwhile, a mysterious Doctor (Kyle MacLachlan) harbors some dangerous secrets that could destroy one of our core team members.

Readers will no doubt remember that Kyle MacLachlan's "Doctor" represents far more than any ordinary physician, but whether or not that information comes to light just yet remains to be seen. And while Lucy Lawless' Isabelle Hartley may be gone for now, we've at least got Adrianne Palicki's Mockingbird to look forward to!

Well, what are you waiting for? Check out the clip and photos from "Heavy is the Head" above and below, and give us your 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 2 predictions for next Tuesday in the comments!
