The day has finally arrived, and Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will publicly present its pilot episode for the first time later on tonight, but that isn't stopping hungry Marvel fans from demanding more. Before the big premiere, ABC has released one last major 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' trailer for the pilot episode and beyond, so what have we learned from the latest footage?

Much like the brief preview that emerged late last week, the latest trailer for Marvel's 'Avengers'-adjacent series offers a heavy focus on episodes 2 and 3, "0-8-4" and "The Asset," incorporating both the former's jungle setting as well as the mysterious red-faced menace of the latter. While it appears as if "0-8-4" will also utilize a mysterious temple with even more sci-fi tech within, eagle-eyed fans will catch an unmistakable 'Serenity' reference among the weaponry employed by the team.

While we await tonight's premiere, we know that Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ features a cast that includes Clark Gregg as a resurrected Phil Coulson Ming-Na as Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge as Leo Fitz and Gemma Simmons, rounded out by Chloe Bennet as hacker Skye. ‘Luck‘ star Ian Hart will guest in episode 3 as Dr. Franklin Hall, and ‘Ghost Whisperer’ star David Conrad will recur as scientist Ian Quinn, while Cobie Smulders has also been confirmed to return as Maria Hill for the pilot at least.

As always, Samuel L. Jackson previously stated that he expected to be involved with the show in some small capacity, while Tom Hiddleston and Sam Rockwell are game to reprise their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles of Loki and Justin Hammer, respectively, something of which we’ve analyzed the likelihood.

Preview Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' one last time in the new trailer above, and give us your expectations of tonight's premiere in the comments!
