Far be it for any of us to assume that social media is the be-all end-all of decision-making and impassioned actions, but it looks like NBC might have another one of their favored sitcoms in hot water after Alec Baldwin seems to have been pushed to the point of no return by his latest scandals.

recent troubles in the media, after the '
30 Rock' actor once again faced the attentions of noted stalker Genevieve Sabourin, a Canadian woman Baldwin went to dinner with last year but has since garnered harassment from.  It seems that the incident's press attention, particularly from NBC itself has pushed the actor far enough, to the point where his latest
Twitter post bluntly reads:

Ruh-roh, could that mean the current season of '
30 Rock' will indeed be the last for Baldwin's character Jack Donaghy?  For a number of years now rumors have swirled that the actor had intention to depart the admittedly-aged '30 Rock,' usually finding cause to reconsider and negotiate an additional season.   Over the last day or so, Baldwin issued a number of angry tweets over the media's intrusion into his (and fiancee Hilaria Thomas) private lives, particularly surrounding the actor's apartment building. Worst however, was that Baldwin's own NBC seems to have arrived at the actor's doorstep with a crew of 'Today' reporters, without the '30 Rock' star's prior notice.

Neither Baldwin nor NBC have issued any kind of official statement on the matter, given that Twitter should hardly be considered indicative of the final outcome. But what say you? Has Baldwin been pushed to the breaking point, perhaps ending '30 Rock' along with his NBC exit? Would you like to see how '30 Rock' fares without Jack Donaghy?
