Who is the Woman Accused of Stalking Alec Baldwin?

Alec Baldwin just got engaged, but another woman has been vying for his attention. And although the police have been involved and stalking charges have been filed, there's more to the story than meets the eye.

Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin, 40, has been emailing Baldwin for a while, professing her love and expressing a desire to have his baby. Oh, and also some of his money, of course.

But it didn't end there. Sabourin was so obsessed with Baldwin that late last month, she hopped a flight from her native Montreal and tried to hook up with the object of her affection at his vacation home in the Hamptons. The '30 Rock' star filed a police report, but Sabourin eluded authorities even while showing up at an event attended by Baldwin and making a visit to his New York City apartment building.

It wasn't until Baldwin's doorman told him she was there that police were finally able to catch up to her. She was held on suspicion of aggravated harassment and stalking, but there's more to the story. Much more.

Turns out Sabourin isn't your garden-variety stalker. She's no stranger to Baldwin -- the two met on the set of 'The Adventures of Pluto Nash' about a decade ago (she was the Unit Publicist, he made a cameo appearance), and have had dinner together multiple times. But while she says they had an affair, he's described their relationship as "strictly professional" and says things took a turn for the worse after he announced his engagement on April 2.
