The last Alien: Covenant poster 20th Century Fox released should have been enough of a warning. A demented egg bathed in eerie green light sat in the midst of shadows in the one sheet, an image that begs you to turn around and run away. In case you didn’t get the hint of the dark and dangerous creatures that lurk on other planets, this new poster will remind you.

The new charcoal grey poster is a nasty looking wall of exoskeletons and xenomorphs looking as vicious and as unfriendly as can be. There’s also some muscled bald men being trampled and suffocated by the freaky creatures, a not-so-subtle hint that humans aren’t welcome here. Just in case you thought Alien: Covenant wasn’t going to scare the crap out of you, you’ve now been warned.

We got a look at the Prometheus sequel at SXSW when our own Britt Hayes joined Ridley Scott, Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, and Danny McBride from a sneak peek of new footage. On top of some gorgeous visuals, Britt said the new movie will be full of bonkers horror scenes that are sure to spook you. Here’s the new film’s official synopsis:

The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world.  When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Alien: Covenant will also star Amy Seimetz, Billy Crudup, Callie Hernandez, Demian Bichie, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, and of course, James Franco. The film hits theaters May 19.
