This coming Sunday will see the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' cast take the stage at Comic-Con 2013 to preview the new September season, and even screen an episode from the coming run, but why wait that long for a fresh trip to Paddy's Pub? The first clip from the new season has already arrived, and the latest scheme might look a bit familiar to longtime fans of the series.

'Pacific Rim' star Charlie Day debuted the first clip of the season last night on 'Conan,' which features Charlie and Dee attempting to perpetrate a pyramid scheme with the help of Ben (Travis Schuldt) and wrestler Maniac (Roddy Piper). Among what we can gleam from the new footage, the gang has, of course, never purchased a new camera tape, which cuts to camera gags from seasons past.

With the show moving to FXX this September, details are light on ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 9 other than guest appearances from actor Sean William Scott, singer Josh Groban and ‘Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul. 'Game of Thrones‘ showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have written an episode, though the content will sadly have nothing Westerosi in nature.

You can check out the first clip from 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 9 above, and stay tuned for our Comic-Con 2013 coverage coming this Sunday!
