Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will be home just in time for Thanksgiving. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that Marc Webb's 'The Amazing Spider-Man' will be swinging his way onto home video (via artificial web-shooters, of course) on November 9th. A Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, 3D Blu-ray combo pack, DVD and Limited Edition Gift Set will all become available on the same date.

Each edition is packed with extras, so the folks who flipped over the reboot will have plenty to sort through. However, it's to note that it doesn't seem like any extended cut of the film is offered, which is somewhat curious, since we know well by now that there were several scenes dropped or altered.

Here's a rundown of what you can expect. There'll be 12 deleted scenes, costume tests, storyboards, alternate takes, 90-minutes of behind-the-scenes documentaries, stunt rehearsals, audio commentaries and, oh yeah, the actual movie. (There will also be a "collectible" edition that will include figures of Spider-Man and Lizard.)

We all know that the "Untold Story" plotlines were mostly cut from the film so it will be curious to see how much light is shed on that in these special features.
