‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ Preview: What’s Next for Season 2?

While last night saw the premiere of FX's spook-tastic 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' the true horror has only just begun. While one couple struggles to stay alive in present day, journalist Lana Winters (Sarah Paulson) faces the true horror of being locked away in the very asylum she came to investigate, while Kit Walker must find away to escape and prove his innocence. Last night's "Welcome to Briarcliff" merely gave us a taste of the insanity, so what does the new preview reveal of season 2?

'American Horror Story: Asylum' has officially unveiled its terrifying premiere, though with 12 more episodes to go there's plenty of time to move in a thousand insane and terrifying new directions. Whereas last night introduced us to Briarcliff Institution, and the many corrupt souls who dwell within, both sane and insane, next week's "Tricks and Treats" will put us in for a bit of supernatural as the asylum deals with an exorcism that exposes one of Sister Jude (Jesisca Lange)'s darkest secrets.

But what of the other mysteries lurking within the asylum? What mysterious experiments is Dr. Arden (James Cromwell) conducting, and what do they have to do with "Bloody Face"? Are Kit's little green men the ones behind it all anyway?
