‘American Horror Story: Coven’ Pricks Us With New Motion Posters and Teaser

Just when you thought 'American Horror Story: Coven' hadn't made you squeamish enough, FX really drives the needle in. The Ryan Murphy-fronted horror-drama has presented us with what might be it's most gruesome and unsettling posters yet, scaring up a bit of voodoo to put us all on pins and needles. Gird your stomachs, and take a look at the full images inside!

Similar to one of the earlier teasers, the new posters and sneak peek from 'American Horror Story: Coven' features a faceless figure impaled by a number of needles, the point of which is driven home in a special motion poster teaser that features the needles going in and out. "This fall, experience our pleasure pain," reads the tagline. Yikes.

We know that the third season will move back and forth between both present and 1830s New Orleans in a battle between witches and voodoo. ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ will also welcome newcomers Danny Huston, Christine Ebersole, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone, Leslie Jordan and Gabourey Sidibe, along with returning franchise regulars Jessica Lange, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckinridge, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.
