When 'American Horror Story: Coven' debuted its freakish first teaser yesterday, we knew it could mean only one thing: endlessly maddening daily snippets to discuss from now until the October premiere! The latest look at FX's third cycle for the Ryan Murphy horror thriller puts its voodoo theme on full display, and quite literally sticks it to us with its graphic visuals.

Appropriately dubbed "Pins & Needles," the second spot for 'American Horror Story: Coven' features no series stars as per tradition, instead showing us a human voodoo doll who comes to life and, you guessed it, makes a freaky mad scramble for the camera. To say the least, it's a bit more disturbing than the first teaser, for all its detention-trapped children leisurely hanging out on (or in) the walls.

Elsewhere, we know that the third season will divide between both present and 1830s New Orleans, and highlight a clash between witches and voodoo. ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ will also welcome newcomers Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone and Gabourey Sidibe, along with returning franchise regulars Jessica Lange, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckinridge, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.

Gird your stomach first, and check out the latest 'American Horror Story: Coven' teaser in the video above! Do you think round three will prove the scariest yet when the FX drama premieres this October?
