'AHS: Hotel' Reveals First Look at Lady Gaga's Character

Considering its October premiere, American Horror Story: Hotel has kept fairly well under wraps, likely owing to the limited filming block available to new star Lady Gaga. Now, Gaga’s Hotel character has stepped out onto the streets in full fashion view, but what might it reveal about Season 5?

People Magazine tweeted out a first look at Gaga filming in character as socialite Hotel owner Elizabeth, as fashionable as you’d expect from the always attention-grabbing singer. Notable is the silver glove we glimpsed in the first Season 5 teaser, though many speculate that Gaga’s appearance might suggest a period shoot, despite producers’ insistence on a contemporary setting.

Elsewhere, the Hotel cast thus far includes Max Greenfield, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga, returning Coven alum Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Asylum star Chloe Sevigny, Freak Show guests Finn Wittrock, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley, and franchise regulars Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Evan Peters and Sara Paulson. FX boss John Landgraf described American Horror Story Season 5 as an “unusually large reinvention” of the series, while Jessica Lange confirmed her exit, but remains open to appearances in future seasons.
