Sigh, anyone want to take bets on how many of these they've actually filmed?  Granted, we still have until October to see any real footage or even photos of the second season of FX's Ryan Murphy scare-fest 'American Horror Story,' dubbed 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' but for now we'll have to make do with its increasingly bizarre teasers.  At least the latest contains some recognizable elements, but where is 'American Horror Story' season 2 going?

Yet another day, yet another 'American Horror Story: Asylum' teaser to rattle your nerves, and leave you questioning what you're looking at, after the previous four highlighted the show’s creepy nature through bizarre imagery.  The latest spot, "Ascend," features the same all-white nun we saw in "Blue Shirt" walking up the staircase while a woman (presumably the unnamed patient from "White Rose" defies gravity by crab-walking beneath her.

If the imagery seems a bit familiar, it should, given that promotional images for the first season prominently featured a pregnant Connie Britton and Rubber Man hanging out on the ceiling as well.

As we’ve said, ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ still boasts an incredible amount of star power, including most recently ‘The Bourne Identity’ actress Franka Potente, ‘The Voice‘ judge and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, ‘Step Up’s Jenna Dewan,‘Carnivale’ star Clea DuVall, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ star Chris Zylka, Americanized ‘Skins’ star Britne Oldford, ‘Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny, French actress Lizzie Brochere, Joseph Fiennes and James Cromwell.

Also returning from the first season are Jessica Lange, upgraded  series regular Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe. As previously reported, all will be playing new characters independent of the first season in the show’s rebooted 1960′s asylum setting, which Lange’s character presides over.

Check out the teaser below, and keep hitting us with your theories on what the heck you think is going on with ‘American Horror Story: Asylum in the comments underneath!
