By now we've made no secret of our confusion with the recent batch of 'American Horror Story: Asylum' teasers, which while suitably creepy, seem to be as abstract and crazy as they are brief.  Precious little about the teasers seems to actually connect with the setting we know the sophomore FX horror thriller to depict, but does the latest finally answer our prayers?  Will we see new footage, or another nightmare?

'American Horror Story: Asylum' is continuing its vague stream of teasing with the latest promo for the Ryan Murphy-helmed series, after the previous three highlighted the show's creepy nature through bizarre imagery.  The latest teaser, "White Rose," doesn't really reveal much more than the others, but at least lands on target by depicting a woman in a straight jacket.  What little we know of the season beyond its impressive list of guest stars is it's setting of a 1960s asylum, as in the revamped title.

The brief teaser opens on the image of a white rose, as in the spot's title, but be warned!  Screaming straight-jacketed girls lay within!

As we've said, ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ still boasts an incredible amount of star power, including most recently ‘The Bourne Identity’ actress Franka Potente, ‘The Voice‘ judge and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, ‘Step Up’s Jenna Dewan,‘Carnivale’ star Clea DuVall, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ star Chris Zylka, Americanized ‘Skins’ star Britne Oldford, ‘Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny, French actress Lizzie Brochere, Joseph Fiennes and James Cromwell.

Also returning from the first season are Jessica Lange, upgraded  series regular Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe. As previously reported, all will be playing new characters independent of the first season in the show’s rebooted 1960′s asylum setting, which Lange’s character presides over.

Check out the teaser below, and keep hitting us with your theories on what the heck you think is going on with 'American Horror Story: Asylum in the comments underneath!
