While we've loved the absurdly creepy revamped setting of 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' it's hard to believe we were kept in the dark about the FX thriller's second season for so long. Series creator Ryan Murphy tantalizingly teased that clues to season 2 could be found in season 1 episode "Birth," but what of the upcoming season 3? Winter break is over and the New Year has rung, so shake off the cobwebs and get ready for all-new episodes of 'American Horror Story: Asylum!' Not only will tonight's episode "The Name Game" pick up where we left off with "The Coat Hanger," aliens, abortions and all, but we've learned via Entertainment Weekly that tonight's episode will provide definitive clues to the show's third season this fall!

Fans of 'American Horror Story's first season will recall that it was Sarah Paulson herself whose character Billie Dean who spoke of paranormal asylums in 11th episode "Birth," providing a clue to the second season setting. Be sure to keep your ears peeled, as creator Ryan Murphy teases Ryan Murphy, “It’s not done like it was last year. It’s a different kind of clue. You really have to be quick and watch. I made sure to put it in there for the fans because I know people loved that last year, figuring it out.”

At the very least, we know series star Jessica Lange will once again return for 'American Horror Story' season 3, while more details will likely emerge from the upcoming Television Critics Association press tour.
