There were some big moments at last month's Oscar ceremonies, but perhaps nothing made as big a splash -- on both television and the internet -- as the wayward right leg of actress Angelina Jolie.

How did one of the world's most famous women react to the brouhaha?

If you've been under some sort of media blackout, here's some history: Jolie wore a lovely long black velvet Versace gown with a high split up the right side. The mother of six (at this writing, anyway) flashed her shapely leg on the red carpet, and when she took the stage to present an award, she purposely struck a pose that put the appendage clearly on display.

So obvious was her stance that it was lightheartedly mocked by a couple award-recipients, and a Twitter account soon emerged that gave voice to the leg.

And, because the internet excels at nothing quite like beating a joke into the ground, the phenomenon even got its own meme -- "Jolie-ing" -- resulting in Photoshop wizards the world over superimposing Angelina's gam onto everything from classic works of art to photos of other celebrities.

But even with all that, there does seem to be one person who claims to be oblivious: the owner of that famous leg, Angelina herself.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Brad Pitt's main squeeze said:

I honestly didn't pay attention to it. You know what I mean? I don't watch those TV shows and if I go online and see something about myself, I don't click on it. And the people I surround myself with don't really talk about that kind of stuff. [Laughs]. I heard something, but I didn't pay any attention. It's as simple as being a woman picking a dress you like and having a night, and not really thinking about anything else.

And since Pitt and Jolie reportedly don't let their kids Google them, we can only imagine what sorts of questions they'll have someday.
