Just two months before 'True Blood' is set to return for Season 5 on HBO, co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have announced an impending arrival of the decidedly human kind -- the pair is expecting their first baby together.

Paquin, 29, and Moyer, 42, who play Sookie and Bill on the popular HBO series, met on the 'True Blood' set in 2007 and married three years later. Their baby, due this fall, will be her first child and his third.  It's unclear how (or if) Paquin's pregnancy will affect upcoming episodes of the series.

The Canadian-born Paquin was just 11 years old when she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in 1993's 'The Piano.' Her work on 'True Blood' garnered her a 2008 Golden Globe Award, and she's also had notable appearances in Cameron Crowe's semi-autobiographical movie 'Almost Famous' and in the 'X-Men' franchise.

Soyer's credits include playing the title role in the 1997 film 'Prince Valiant' and co-starring in the Al Pacino movie '88 Minutes,' as well as appearing in numerous television movies and on series such as 'The Starter Wife' and 'Ice.'

'True Blood' returns to HBO on June 10.
