We are now officially in the midst of Marvel’s big marketing push up to the release of Ant-Man, which means more photos, TV spots, behind the scenes featurettes, et al. Marvel has just unleashed a dozen new official stills from the upcoming film, featuring our pint-sized, mega-powered hero along with a few of his friends (and enemies).

We’ve seen three of these photos recently, but the rest of the batch is entirely new — there’s Paul Rudd in and out of costume as Scott Lang, who dons Hank Pym’s Ant-Man suit and becomes an incredibly tiny but incredibly powerful superhero; and there’s Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, with Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym and Corey Stoll’s Darren Cross, aka Yellowjacket. There’s one pic with an actor you may not immediately recognize — that’s David Dastmalchian, playing the role of “Kurt,” whoever Kurt is.

A founding member of Marvel’s The Avengers is brought to the screen for the first time in ‘Ant-Man.’ Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man also stars Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Tip “TI” Harris, Wood Harris, Jordi Molla and Gregg Turkington, and hits theaters on July 17.
