Terminator Genisys doesn’t hit theaters for a few more months, but we’ve already got release dates for two sequels, which seems absurd, since it’s uncertain how the first film will perform—we don’t know if it will be massively successful (or even good) enough to warrant two more films. But Arnold Schwarzenegger says he’s coming back for the Terminator Genisys sequels, whether you like (or want) it or not.

Schwarzenegger confirmed his return to The Arnold Fans, adding that filming begins next year on the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise. Paramount is definitely putting all their eggs in one basked with Terminator Genisys, which is set to effectively reboot the franchise by playing with the continuity of the first four films. X-Men: Days of Future Past pulled a similar stunt last year, playing with time travel to reboot the X-Men franchise, but it remains to be seen if the new Terminator film can pull off a similar feat. And those first trailers haven’t exactly been promising.

Terminator Genisys stars Game of ThronesEmilia Clarke in the iconic role of Sarah Connor, who—as it’s revealed in the new film—was raised by Schwarzenegger’s Terminator, whom she refers to as “Pops.” The primary directive of this film, as with every other Terminator film, is to effectively stop Doomsday from happening.

Directed by Thor: The Dark World helmer Alan Taylor, the new installment also stars Jai Courtney, Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons (feels good to say that), Jason Clarke, Matt Smith and Byung-hun Lee.

Terminator Genisys hits theaters on July 1.
