We don't often give dude-bro-tastic lawyer drama 'Franklin & Bash' a great deal of attention, unless it's picked up for a third season, or Mark-Paul Gosselaar attempts to take over the entirety of ABC's Tuesday night lineup. Still, it's of interest to note that the TNT series appears to have unceremoniously dropped star Garcelle Beauvais in advance of the third season. Thankfully, there are always parts in the banana stand, as the actress will next head to 'Arrested Development' season 4!

Bad news for 'Franklin & Bash' fans, as in a surprising turn actress Garcelle Beauvais confirmed via her Twitter that she wasn't asked back for the third season. No apparent reason was given for the drop, even though Beauvais has been a regular since the season 1.

However, Beauvais certainly won't hurt for work following the departure, soon to be seen in 'Flight,' 'White House Down,' 'Psych' and now a role in the fourth season of 'Arrested Development' on Netflix! Like most new cast members, however, no details are available of Beauvais' role in the spring 2013 revival.

Beauvais is the latest addition to a star-studded reunion season that features appearances from Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter, ‘Parks and Recreation's’ Ben Schwartz, ‘Up All Night’s’ Chris Diamantopoulos, all three stars of Comedy Central’s ‘Workaholics,’ 'Mad Men’s’ John Slattery, Isla Fisher and Terry Crews, as well as returning series players Carl Weathers, Jeff Garlin, Liza Minnelli, Judy Greer, Henry Winkler and Scott Baio.

What say you? Are you sad to see Garcelle Beauvais departing 'Franklin & Bash' before the third season?
