It ain't easy being white, and it ain't easy being brown, but it sure is easy to be an 'Arrested Development' fan now that the series is officially set to return for a fourth season on Netflix. We'd seen a few rumblings of the Bluth family gearing up to get back in business, but when will the series actually start shooting, and when will we start seeing footage of the long-awaited reunion?

Via Deadline, we've learned that today the Bluth family is officially back at the banana stand, as filming of the long awaited 'Arrested Development' season 4 reunion has begun. The news corroborates all the recent sneak peeks we've seen, including tweeted photos of series star Michael Cera on the re-built sets, as well as recent comments from 'Up All Night' star Will Arnett that claimed series creator Mitch Hurwitz would tailor filming needs around the busy actors.

Curiously, though series stars Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat and Tony Hale are all expected to return, the article specifies that the actors are still in final negotiations. The original series producers Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV are again behind the revitalized series, with Hurwitz, Troy Miller and Imagine’s Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo executive producing the new run of episodes.

As previously mentioned, the new series (debuting on Netflix in its entirety in 2013) will largely follow a format of following one character per episode, though several episodes will feature multiple characters. The 10-episode fourth season of 'Arrested Development' is still seen as a potential bridge toward an eventual movie, as teased in the show's own season 3 finale, though it's possible that Hurwitz will continue the series in its episodic Netflix format should the reunion prove successful.
