We don’t yet have the clearest picture as to how Arrow and Flash spinoff Legends of Tomorrow will interact with its predecessors on a regular basis, given all the time-travel involved, but all three series already have at least one unifying character. Current Arrow baddie Damien Darhk will crop up on both Legends and The Flash, with a timey-wimey twist, per Neal McDonough.

The magical big bad himself confirmed the news to ComicBook.com over the weekend at New York Comic-Con, adding that he’d already shot his first Legends appearance the prior week. Intriguingly, McDonough also confirmed that we’d see the character appearing physically unchanged in 1975, albeit without the same meticulous plotting of his 2015 self:

You go back to the League – I did an episode of Legends last week – and I look exactly the same in 1975 but you see he’s not as confident and doesn’t have such an agenda forty years ago as he does now. So it’s fun to play the different times, you know? Going back in time with Legends, and The Flash, with The Flash, I’m just this crazy, fun, enjoy everything while I kill everybody type of character. It’s just nuts … I’m enjoying the power that I have because it’s my time. It’s not Savage’s time, it’s not Ra’s al Ghul’s time; it’s Damien Darhk’s time.

The CW also reportedly confirmed that Darhk would appear on The Flash at some point in its second season, though unclear is if we’ll be meeting another era’s Darhk, or simply crossing over with Arrow. Either series had plenty of go-between last year as well, so it wouldn’t surprise to see the villain setting his sights on Central City for a time.

In the meantime, Flash continues on Tuesday with “The Flash of Two Worlds,” while Arrow rolls on with “The Candidate,” while both have new sizzle reels from NYCC below.
