‘Arrow’ “Dead to Rights” Preview: Oliver Learns His Famous Pull-Ups

Arrow Dead to Rights Preview Clip
The CW

Following last week’s by-the-book ‘Arrow‘ installment “Dodger,” this Wednesday’s all-new episode “Dead to Rights” may prove an important turning point for the fledgling CW series. DC villain Deadshot (Michael Rowe) returns to even the score as the Merlyns come face to face with Oliver Queen’s vigilante figure once more. Meanwhile on the island, Oliver and Slade Wilson (‘Spartacus‘ Manu Bennet) continue to plot their escape, but has Oliver trained enough? Check out a sneak peek of Wednesday’s “Dead to Rights” to find out!

Every ‘Arrow’ fan well knows the infamous “salmon ladder” exercise a shirtless Stephen Amell has been seen to practice over multiple episodes, but at long last it finally has its own origin story. This Wednesday’s upcoming “Dead to Rights” will return the villainous Deadshot to the fold when Moira tasks China White (Kelly Hu) and the one-eyed assassin to take down Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), but more importantly, Oliver will need to complete pull-ups.

The CW has released a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode, in which Slade Wilson and a sadly-lacking-in-upper-body-strength Oliver plot their next escape attempt, but getting off the island might not be as simple as turning a coconut into a phone.

Check out a sneak peek of ‘Arrow’s’ next hour “Dead to Rights” below, and tell us what you want to see from the freshman season of The CW’s newest hero below!
