Only one episode deep into its sophomore season and 'Arrow' has already promised a plethora of DC characters, both new and returning. Previously we heard that season 1 villain Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) might just miraculously pop up again, though it seems he won't be the only one to make a return appearance. 'Fringe' star Seth Gabel's villainous "The Count" will also return to give Oliver Queen "Vertigo" once more, but where will we find him again?

Executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg revealed the character's season 2 return to DC All Access, only offering of the reprisal that "he is coming back and he is bringing a whole lotta chaos with him." The character adapting DC villain Count Vertigo for 'Arrow''s more grounded mythology appeared in two episodes of the inaugural season, though was last seen rather incoherent from the effects of his own product in "Unfinished Business."

In addition to introducing Grant Gustin’s Flash, along with references to Metamorpho and The Atom, ‘Arrow’ season 2 continues the show’s ‘Batman Begins’-influenced storytelling with the addition of new villains Isabel Rochev (Summer Glau), Anthony Ivo (Dylan Neal), his “Amazo”-ing associate (Jimmy Jean Louis), Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger, Kevn Alejandro as Sebastian Blood, Amanda Waller (‘SpartacusCynthia Addai-Robinson), League of Assassins member Al-Owal (‘Homeland‘ star Navid Negahban) and DC character Sin (‘The Killing‘ star Bex Taylor Klaus).

We'll keep our ear to the ground for news of Vertigo's return, but what say you? Are you excited to see yet another season 1 villain return for 'Arrow' season 2, even if Oliver's newly developed "no killing" policy sees bad guys returning more and more? Watch a preview of tomorrow's "Identity" below, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
