‘Arrow’ Season 3 Premiere Photos Tease “The Calm,” Plus Steamy New Olicity Trailer!

It's been a day for DC TV to be sure, but nothing quite gets geek blood flowing like a new look at 'Arrow' season 3! Check out "The Calm" with our first new photos from the October 8 season premiere, plus a brand-spankin' new teaser that ships some major "Ollicity" movement, and reveals a major character's violent new path!

While there isn't terribly much to see in The CW's four new photos of the 'Arrow' season 3 premiere, it's at least good to have Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) back on his feet after season 2 finale "Unthinkable," while Oliver and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) seem to be going strong, and even Sara Lance (Caity Lotz)'s Canary shows her face. And speaking of Oliver and lovely ladies, how about the CW's brief new promo above, with our first real Oliver-Felicity kiss, and Thea (Willa Holland) putting in some serious training of her own?

Most recently adding Amy Gumenick as DC's Cupid and 'Glee''s Nolan Funk as Felicity's flashback boyfriend, 'Arrow' season 3 has also recruited 'Superman Returns' star Brandon Routh in a major recurring role as tech magnate (and likely Felicity love interest) Ray Palmer, better known as DC's "The Atom." Not only that, but '22 Jump Street''s Peter Stormare will act as our new Vertigo, J.R. Ramirez will appear as DC superhero Wildcat, David Cubitt will play DC's Manhunter, Matt Ward will play Komodo, and ‘Real Steel’ star Karl Yune will play Oliver’s flashback Hong Kong handler alongside Rila Fukushima as DC's Katana, having replaced Devon Aoki.

Departed series star Colin Donnell will also return for an early episode this season, and we've also got our first full look at Colton Haynes' costume in his new vigilante persona of "Arsenal," as well, in addition to the new photo below.
