It’s a fine day to air on The CW, as the network’s TCA press tour panel brings some seriously good news. Not only will ‘Arrow’ return for season 4 along with ‘The Flash’ season 2, but so too will ‘Supernatural’ live to hunt another day, ‘Jane the Virgin’ keep up the search for love, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ continue…writing…diaries about vampires, and…you know what? They renewed a lot of shows. That’s what happened.

Most of the entire fall CW lineup can say it has a return ticket for 2015, including (deep breath) ‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Supernatural,’ ‘Jane the Virgin,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘The Originals,’ ‘Reign’ and ‘The 100.’ That said, the CW panel at the TCA tour couldn’t quite reveal the episode numbers, or if each series would necessarily air in the fall of 2015, and president Mark Pedowitz played coy on the futures of ‘Hart of Dixie’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast.’

Says he of the renewals:

Each of these series have helped define what The CW is today, a network that is home to smart, provocative, quality programming, targeting a savvy adult audience. By picking up these shows now, our executive producers can start planning next season’s storylines, and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 line-ups.

No-brainer as many of the pickups should be, what say you? Are you happy to have ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ confirmed to cross streams another year? When will that wacky ‘Supernatural’ call it quits? Tell us which series you’re most excited to see return in the comments!
