New ‘Arrow’ Trailer: Vertigo Returns, the Huntress, and Oliver’s Identity Revealed?
It’s been several weeks since ‘Arrow‘ dropped a bombshell of revealing Oliver’s identity as the vigilante to another of his inner circle, but its March 20 premiere episode “The Huntress Returns” and the weeks beyond that will really move the DC Comics-based CW series forward. Not only will plenty of villains old and new show their faces, but ‘Arrow’ has a few new DC snippets and guest stars yet to be revealed! Get a sneak peek of upcoming episodes as well as new PaleyFest spoilers for ‘Arrow’ inside!
Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will face a blast from his past on March 20 when “The Huntress Returns,” but judging by the ‘Arrow’ sizzle reel presented at this past weekend’s PaleyFest panel, Helena Bertinelli (Jessica De Gouw) isn’t the only character returning to menace Starling City. A new trailer for upcoming episodes reveals the return of ‘Fringe‘ star Seth Gabel’s “Vertigo,” now even more crazed than before, along with another big reveal of Oliver’s idenity!
‘Arrow’s’ producers and stars remains fairly tight-lipped about upcoming spoilers for the series, but Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg did tease that an upcoming episode would see Oliver venturing to the previously mentioned Blüdhaven, even if “Nightwing will not be there, unfortunately. He’s out of town that week.” As for other DC cities seen in the future, Kreisberg added “there are two cities that we’ll probably never go to. You can probably figure out which ones those are.” COUGH, Gotham and Metropolis.
And while ‘Arrow’ has featured some incredible genre talent thus far, producers tease that at least one major character/actor has thus far been kept under wraps. “There is an episode coming up with somebody who is one of the stars of a very popular genre show that you will all recognize and be happy that they’re on our show,” says Kreisberg. Hurm.
