Now that Arrow settled its “Blood Debts” by the 2016 premiere, the DC drama has plenty more stops in the battle against Damien Darhk. Soon enough, Megalyn Echikunwoke will bring her animated Vixen to live-action as well, and Stephen Amell has our first look at the transition.

Amell shared the first photo of Echikunwoke on the Arrow set, admittedly framed to avoid spoiling a full glimpse of DC’s Mari McCabe in action. Still, it at least appears as if Echikunwoke will keep her longer hair from the animated version’s close-crop, while the actress’ yellow and black clothes might offer a hint of the costume as well.

The CW’s live-action Vixen will appear in Arrow Season 4’s fifteenth episode on February 24, while the animated CW Seed series has been renewed for Season 2 as well. For those unfamiliar with the character, Vixen (real name Mari McCabe) gains her powers from a Tantu Totem inherited from her parents, which grants her the abilities of any animal.

In the meantime, check out the latest trailers for next week’s “A.W.O.L.” and Season 4 beyond below, and stay tuned for a further look at Megalyn Echikunwoke’s Vixen in live-action.
