Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Unleashes a Treasure Trove of Screenshots

A handful of new screenshots for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag have debuted, giving us a glimpse at some of the Assassins' most dangerous enemies yet: sharks.

We're not exactly sure how one can sneak up on a shark to give it the ol' hidden blade treatment, but we're curious to find out. Judging by the screenshots below, you'll be spending plenty of time in the crystalline waters of the Caribbean, searching for treasure, engaging in naval battles and spearing the hell out of sharks.

Perhaps the only bit of downtime we get to see is when Kenway is speaking to Charles Vane, the infamous English pirate who targeted English and French shipping industries. Perhaps we'll get to join him in one of his heists in the game?

Peep the screens below and look out for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag when it's released on Oct. 29 for PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions will be released later in the year.
