‘Atlas Shrugged Part II’ Trailer: Ayn Rand’s Work Gets New Life

"Who is John Galt?" This famous question, first asked by iconic author Ayn Rand in her novel 'Atlas Shrugged,' is being reintroduced in this new trailer for the upcoming book-adapted movie 'Atlas Shrugged Part II.'

Starring Samantha Mathis, Jason Beghe and Esai Morales, the movie sequel to 'Atlas Shrugged Part I,' which took home about $5 million at the box office, paints a portrait of our society on the brink of destruction. With growing unemployment rates and gas prices, and the economy at an all-time low, the world's most brilliant creative minds are vanishing.

One hope remains and it takes the form of a motor that can seemingly supply the World with limitless fossil fuel-less energy. But with the engine broken and the inventor nowhere to be found, Mathis' character must track down this John Galt and save the world before it's too late.
