Well, if FOX’s American remake of ‘Broadchurch’ didn’t send mobs of flaming pitchforks to the ‘Gracepoint’ set, we suppose this was bound to happen. Idris Elba’s revered detective drama ‘Luther’ looks to get its own FOX remake as well, with series creator Neil Cross on board to write and Elba in line to produce.

A great many eons ago, revered Alan Moore-Eddie Campbell graphic novel ‘From Hell’ slashed into theaters with a mediocre Johnny Depp-led take on the Jack the Ripper tale. And while Moore famously criticized the adaptation to hell and back, 20th Century Fox may yet try again to adapt ‘From Hell’ as an FX event miniseries in the future.

J.J. Abrams’ HBO ‘Westworld’ Adaptation Gets Full Season Order for 2015, First Teaser

We’d been hearing about it for some time, but at last HBO has made Bad Robot’s star-studded ‘Westworld‘ TV series a reality. The pay-cable network has granted a full season order to Jonathan Nolan’s adaptation of the 1973 sci-fi classic, whose cast boasts the likes of Sir Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and more, setting a 2015 premiere with the new ‘Westworld’’s first teaser.

Kurt Sutter’s FX biker opus ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ will rev its last within a few weeks time, but while the potential prequel cools its heels, work continues on Sutter’s medieval FX followup ‘The Bastard Executioner.’ And whatever Gemma Teller’s ultimate fate may be, we can expect to see Katey Sagal right beside her husband once more with a role in the new series.

Last week saw ‘Community‘ season 6 beefing up the Greendale roster to include both ‘Enlisted’ veteran Keith David and Paget Brewster, and now the newly re-minted Yahoo Screen series will take us behind the scenes of its second episode, as well as Britta’s birth! Sort of. ‘Community’ star Jim Rash with team with frequent partner Nat Faxon to direct the second installment of the season, which will introduce ‘Clue’ stars Martin Mull and Lesley Ann Warren to play Britta’s parents.
