'The Legend of Korra,' Nickelodeon's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' sequel series, gave us a first look at season 3's "Change" with last week's trailer, but we were way wrong to think that Comic-Con 2014 would be the next we saw of the show. Find out when 'The Legend of Korra' season 3 will officially premiere, and watch the first clip from "Change" right now!

Where last season saw 'The Legend of Korra' debuting the first episode of the new season from San Diego, IGN revealed that season 3 will in fact debut on June 27 at 7:00 p.m. with a two-part premiere, followed immediately by the third episode! The show will take off for the 4th of July, and return to Friday nights at 8:00 p.m. beginning July 11.

Additionally, here are the first two episode descriptions:

“A Breath of Fresh Air”: After the events of Harmonic Convergence, Avatar Korra discovers that her decision to leave the spirit portals open has unexpected consequences. Wild spirit vines have overgrown Republic City and Airbenders are suddenly popping up across the four nations.

“Rebirth of a Nation”: Korra, Tenzin and Team Avatar search for new Airbenders in an effort to recruit them and rebuild the Air Nation. Meanwhile, a band of sinister criminals are organizing to hunt down the Avatar themselves.

You can also see the beginnings of the new season in a clip below, which highlights Korra's efforts to deal with the mysterious vines overgrowing Republic City. No word yet on any new voices being added to the cast, though Book 2 featured the likes of ‘The Walking Dead”s Steven Yeun, ‘Parks and Recreation”s Aubrey Plaza, ‘Dexter”s James Remar and ‘House”s Lisa Edelstein, along with ‘Arrested Development‘ star John Michael Higgins and ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ star Adrian LaTourelle.

Take a look at the new footage from 'The Legend of Korra' season 3's "Change" below, and tell us in the comments what you want to see from the epic June 27 premiere!
