Just earlier today we reported the awesome news that Tom Hiddleston's Loki will be featured prominently in both 'Thor: Ragnarok' and both parts of 'Avengers: Infinity War,' we have another 'Avengers' and 'Thor'-related bit of news for you: Idris Elba has confirmed that not only will he be making an appearance in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' but so will the mischief-making Loki.

The news makes a bit of sense, given Loki's ties to the upcoming phase of new Marvel films, but we're definitely curious about how Idris Elba's Heimdall fits into everything. Elba sat down for an interview with UK's Telegraph, where he dropped the news:

I’m in Avengers, and I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they’re like, [whispers] – ‘Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'

Elba was in Spain when he filmed his scenes, meaning that his time on the project came at the end of the production -- so whatever role Loki and Heimdall have in the film likely isn't very huge, but could connect 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' to the next phase of Marvel's films, setting up the action for 'Thor: Ragnarok.'  Earlier we reported Kevin Feige's confirmation that Loki would indeed be a big part of that film as well as 'Infinity War.'

'Avengers: Age of Ultron' hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
