Thanks to the fine folks at Dr. Pepper (who make the world taste better, if memory serves), we have a brand new Avengers: Age of Ultron featurette. The latest video takes us behind the scenes of the upcoming super-film with director Joss Whedon and the cast as they explain what makes each of the Avengers so special — and what makes the challenges in the sequel so particularly challenging. As an added bonus, there’s also a little helping of new footage on display.

As we inch closer to the Avengers: Age of Ultron release date, Marvel is really going nuts with their promotion for a film you’re already guaranteed to see. Not that we’re complaining — each new trailer, TV spot and behind-the-scenes featurette has offered up a few new bits of footage to increase our excitement.

In the latest featurette, Whedon and Co. talk about the ways that the team dynamic becomes an issue in Age of Ultron. Namely, what happens after our superheroes assemble this team? Is that dynamic sustainable over a longer period of time? Each of our heroes have established themselves separately as major forces, and as Chris Evans notes, this is kind of an issue when you have them all on a team, as no one immediately steps up as the de facto leader to help keep things organized.

And, of course, there’s a little bit of new footage mixed up in there, including new shots of Ultron along with his army heading into battle, and the Avengers plane. As if you needed more of a reason to see this movie (you don’t, but it can’t hurt).

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1.
