Aww, poor Hawkeye. Working on a team with a bunch of enhanced superheroes with superpowers must be kind of tough. In the first Avengers film, Hawkeye felt like the odd man out — even though Black Widow doesn’t have powers either, we were all already well-versed in her badass physical abilities. Jeremy Renner doesn’t think you should underestimate Hawkeye’s value, though, which is why he decided to sing a song about it.

On last night’s installment of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Renner stopped by in full Hawkeye costume to sing about his superpowers to the tune of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Hawkeye can seem like an outsider fighting among his super-powered friends, but listen, Hawkeye’s got superpowers too — they may not be the magical kind, but can you wield a bow and arrow like that? Didn’t think so.

For those who thought Hawkeye was a bit underplayed in the first Avengers, rest assured that he gets plenty of spotlight in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and happens to deliver the film’s best line. No, seriously. You guys are going to walk out of Age of Ultron as big Hawkeye fans.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters this Friday, May 1.
