Warning: Do not read this next story if you are hungry. Eat something first, then circle back around to find out how ‘Parks & Recreation’ co-star Aziz Ansari scored a role in Seth Rogen’s upcoming comedy ‘The Apocalypse.’

Are you full? Good, because Ansari sat down for a lengthy dinner conversation with Grantland columnist Daniel Kellison for a ‘My Dinner With Andre’-type interview that bobbed and weaved through various topics. The stand-up comic dished on his collaborations with Jay-Z and Kanye; his friendship with LeBron James; and his cocktail of choice.

Oh, and he also mentioned that he’s filming ‘The Apocalypse’ with Rogen in New Orleans, and dropped some details.

Rogen and his longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg (‘Superbad’) are co-directing the comedy about real people trying to survive an end-of-the-world scenario. Aziz explains:

“It's basically all of us playing ourselves. Me, [Danny] McBride, Jonah [Hill], Seth — everyone's playing themselves, and the bit is James Franco's having a party at his house, and the Apocalypse starts happening.”

‘Apocalypse’ got its start as a NSFW YouTube short film Rogen and Jay Baruchel made years ago, though they apparently have enough material to try it as a feature-length film. Expect something along the lines of ‘Pineapple Express’ or ‘Superbad’ if it has all of these comedians involved. Here’s the original. Are you excited for a longer version?
