Bad Moms looks like The Hangover but, you know, for moms. It’s a fair comparison, since the new comedy was written by the guys who brought you The Hangover. In keeping with the good mom / bad mom theme, STX has released green and red band trailers — just in case you feel like Kathryn Hahn’s declaration of “I say we go punch that chick right in the t—” is a little too NSFW for your delicate sensibilities. Whatever it is, Bad Moms is definitely not for kids.

As you might expect, the red band trailer is a bit more humorous than the green band version, which holds back on all those casual F-bombs:

The new film stars Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and the incomparable Kathryn Hahn as a trio of moms who are fed up with tirelessly trying to meet the expectations set by the impossibly perfect PTA moms. Christina Applegate plays the PTA’s queen bee, joined by Annie Mumolo (who played a similar role opposite Kristen Bell in The Boss) and Jada Pinkett Smith.

It’s a killer lineup of female talent, though these trailers aren’t completely convincing. Still, we’ve seen plenty of comedies that were far, far better than their trailers ever suggested (Paul Feig’s films come to mind), and watching Kathryn Hahn chug a gallon of milk is undeniably great.

Here’s the official synopsis:

In this new comedy from the writers of THE HANGOVER, Amy has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms.

Bad Moms hits theaters on July 29.
