It’s always darkest before the dawn. Or, in this case, a Zack Snyder superhero movie.

(Although those tend to be pretty dark too.)

With just over three months to go before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Cinematic Universe (or Justice), the marketing efforts are ramping up. Earlier today, these three character posters were unveiled on Twitter. There’s one each for the film’s three heroes: Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman, and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, who wrote in her tweet “I welcome you into my dream” because I think playing Wonder Woman has given her Inception powers.

First up, here’s Superman:

How would you describe the expression on Henry Cavill’s face there? I’ve struggled to find the right words. He’s either thinking “I will stop you, Lex Luthor,” or “My cheekbones are so sharp, they hurt.”

Next, here’s Batfleck:

You will believe a man can dress like a robot with a bat fetish. And finally, live in Gal Gadot’s dream of appearing on a poster:

This one’s my favorite, actually. It’s a cool shot of Gadot, and that Wonder Woman logo is pretty fantastic; modern with enough of the classic version to still be recognizable. Do we really have to do the whole Batman versus Superman thing? Can’t we just skip to the part where Wonder Woman gets to be awesome and have her own movie?

I guess not. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25. But you knew that already, because it’s emblazoned in giant font on each of the three posters you just looked at.
