Despite the Batman vs. Superman trailer leaking online over the weekend, Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder still went ahead with their big IMAX presentation yesterday in over 35 cities across the U.S. and Canada. It should have been the first time anyone saw the trailer, but after the leak, everyone had seen it. So Snyder had to give the fans a little something extra...

There were rumors that Snyder would show up at one of the screenings, but there were no live appearances. Instead, Snyder delivered a taped message to the fans, talking about IMAX and some other things. Those who attended were promised some extra footage after the trailer, and they got it. All three seconds of it.

Yes, it wasn't much (especially for fans who waiting in the pouring rain drenching most of the east coast), but it was a brief stinger added to the end of the trailer with Batman and Superman charging at each other. And that was it.

Snyder did take to Twitter directly afterward and thanked fans for showing up, while sharing the first full look at the new Batman costume.

Fans were also treated to a movie ticket that would allow them to see Batman vs. Superman for free, one week early, plus the two new teaser posters Snyder revealed the other day.

Was it worth the wait? We'll let you decide.

Batman vs. Superman opens in theaters on March 28, 2016.
