Seemingly taking a cue from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, the latest promo art for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (be sure to take a break to catch your breath every time you say that title) is also adorned with graffiti. According to the official plot synopsis released yesterday, Batman and Superman aren’t just fighting — they’re at war. And these new promo photos definitely encourage that idea.

The photos appeared on Heroic Hollywood’s Instagram, and look like propaganda posters that have been covered in “graffiti” (basically just some cartoony Photoshop). With Batman and Superman at war in the film, these posters look like the work of conflicting smear campaigns. Politics are fun, sure.

But here’s a neat question: why is it that Warner Bros. seemingly only has one photo of Ben Affleck as Batman to use in their promotional materials? It’s the same black and white, gloomy photo that gave us our first look at Affleck in costume. Where are more photos of Affleck as Batman?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features Henry Cavill reprising his role as Clark Kent/Superman, alongside Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman and the debut of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Jesse Eisenberg stars as the villainous Lex Luthor, while Jason Momoa’s Aquaman is also reportedly making an appearance.

Batman v Superman hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
