Bayonetta 2 Trailer: She’s No Samson

When the Wii U was first announced, Nintendo shocked everyone by revealing Bayonetta 2 was a console exclusive. Though it’s still not quite ready, the latest gameplay trailer for the sequel has definitely caught our attention.

Bayonetta 2 isn’t due out until 2014, but Platinum hasn’t bee slacking. Judging by this first real footage, the developer has been working overtime to make sure Bayonetta 2 is more insane than the first by a significant factor.

If you happened to miss it, Bayonetta herself has chopped off her long locks, going for a pixie cut instead. We think it looks mighty fine of the bespectacled beauty, and her lack of hair certainly hasn’t diminished her capabilities one bit.

Enjoy the trailer above, and let us know what you think about Bayonetta 2 so far. Can Platinum deliver, or has Nintendo taken too big a risk on such a niche title?
