2013 was a thrilling year for cinema, from witnessing a newly minted Superman breaking in his wings to director James Mangold and actor Hugh Jackman redefining what superhero movies are. But which was the best superhero movie of the year?

For the 2nd Annual ScreenCrush Fan Choice Awards, your trusty editors combed through the year’s standout films, TV series and performances, and offered up the very best for your consideration. Now, it’s time for you, the readers, to have a say and vote for the champs.

This past year saw two superheroes redefine themselves in the cinematic landscape -- director Zack Snyder partnered with producer Christopher Nolan to craft a (dare we say) grittier take on Superman for 'Man of Steel,' while Mangold and Jackman transformed your favorite adamantium clawed X-Man into a wandering Ronin warrior in 'The Wolverine.' Marvel's 2013 slate was nothing to scoff at, either, as 'Iron Man 3' was the top-earning theatrical release of 2013 (both domestically and internationally), and 'Thor: The Dark World' offered an arguably superior standalone adventure for the Mjolnir-wielding Avenger than his first outing. And who could forget the return of Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass as they faced down the Motherf----- in 'Kick-Ass 2'?

Check out all the nominees for Best Actor in the 2nd Annual ScreenCrush Fan Choice Awards below, and vote for the best in the poll at the bottom of the page.
