Disney’s Big Hero 6 is finally returning to the screen. After debuting the opening credits from D23, the animated series adaptation brings back Baymax and Hiro in a new clip from the forthcoming fall premiere.

IGN debuted a first-look clip at the new series, as Hiro and Baymax infiltrate the lair of new villain Baron Von Steamer, in the process promising a November premiere. Not to mention, the series is already renewed for Season 2, so we won’t be bereft of further details very long.

Returning from the original film will be Maya Rudolph as Aunt Cass, Jamie Chung as GoGo Tomago, Scott Adsit as Baymax, Ryan Potter as Hiro, Genesis Rodriguez as Honey Lemon, David Shaughnessy as Fred’s butler Heathcliff, and Stan Lee as his father. The Walking Dead star Khary Payton will take over for Damon Wayans Jr. as Wasabi, with SNL’s Brooks Wheelan filling in for T.J. Miller as Fred.

So reads the synopsis:

The series picks up immediately following the events in the feature film, and continues the adventures and friendship of 14-year-old tech genius Hiro and his compassionate, cutting-edge robot Baymax. Alongside Hiro and Baymax on their journey are control freak Wasabi, scientist Honey Lemon, fanboy Fred and no-nonsense Go Go, who together form the legendary superhero team, Big Hero 6.

As the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro now faces daunting academic challenges and the social trials of being the little man on campus. Off campus, the stakes are raised for the high-tech heroes as they must protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains.

New to the series are Sherlock star Andrew Scott as the villainous “Obake,” Andy Richter as Globby, Jenifer Lewis as Professor Granville, Diedrich Bader as Bluff Dunder, Susan Sullivan as Fred’s mother, Sean Giambrone as Richardson Mole, John Ross Bowie as Mel, and Haley Tju as Karmi.

We’ll hopefully have more to see before long, but check out the first Big Hero 6 teasers below in the meantime.
