We love just about everything J.J. Abrams does, from his 'Star Trek' movies to the myriad of high-concept TV series that, well...always seem to wind up in danger of being cancelled.  We're still with you, 'Fringe'.

In any case, the latest thriller from acclaimed director and producer J.J. Abrams as well as 'Supernatural' creator Eric Kripke 'Revolution' continues swelling with notable castings, first with 'Breaking Bad' Guy Giancarlo Esposito, and now as TVLine reports Billy Burke, best known to movie-going audiences as Bella Swan's father Charlie of the 'Twilight' films.

As we've mentioned before, NBC's 'Revolution’ tells a post-apocalyptic tale of survival and the struggle to reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy mysteriously vanish.  In addition to Kripke and Abrams backing the series, notable director, writer and actor Jon Favreau will take on directing duties for the pilot episode.

The report offers no description of Burke's character within the series, or what, if any relationship Burke has to Giancarlo Esposito's southern, hard-as-steel but enigmatic military man.  NBC's 'Revolution' isn't Billy Burke's first foray into TV either, having previously taken guest roles in 'The Closer', '24', and 'Rizzoli & Isles'.

So, what do we all think?  Is 'Revolution's cast shaping up to pique your interest toward checking out the latest effort from J.J. Abrams, or is your hatred of 'Twilight' so fierce that anyone associated with it turns you off?  Why do they keep telling us about J.J. Abrams new pilots when we're dying for info on the fate of 'Fringe' and 'Alcatraz'?!

Vent your frustration, or at least give us your take on the latest casting for 'Revolution' in the comments section below!
