Sony is filling out its release calendar for the next two years, and today they’ve found slots for two of their most exciting projects. Silver and Black, the Spider-Man spinoff featuring characters Black Cat and Silver Sable, is hitting theaters at the beginning of 2019, and Sicario sequel Soldado, which will see the return of Benicio Del Toro’s scary drug kingpin hunter, has been set for summer of next year.

Variety reports that Silver and Black is hitting theaters February 8, 2019, which seems to be the new optimum time of year for superhero movies that aren’t huge summer tentpoles to hit theaters. Deadpool had a February slot, as does Black Panther. It sounds like Silver and Black could be the Marvel movie to open 2019.

Gina Prince-Bythewood is directing the picture and will also rewrite the script by Thor: Ragnarok’s Chris Yost. It features characters Black Cat, a burglar, and Silver Sable, a mercenary who runs an organization that hunts war criminals.

Next up, Stefano Sollima’s Soldado hits theaters June 29, 2018, and stars Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Catherine Keener, Jeffrey Donovan and Matthew Modine. Del Toro and Brolin are reprising their roles from the first movie as scary, volatile drug hunters, except this time, they won’t have Emily Blunt’s FBI agent to keep an eye on them.
