Boy, that HBO sure had a busy Sunday, didn't they?  As if it wasn't epic enough to finally unleash the season 2 premiere of 'Game of Thrones,' or even tease a look at this summer's premiere of 'True Blood' season 5, the network saw fit to pour out one more for the road...can you guess who?

That's right, 'Boardwalk Empire!'  Season 3 of the Steve Buscemi gangster drama won't find its way to TV until sometime later this year, but after the shocking events of season 2 finale "To the Lost," which - SPOILER ALERT - saw Nucky Thompson putting a bullet in the brain of fellow series lead Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt), we'd take even the vaguest of teases!

The new teaser doesn't feature any actual footage, but we do manage to hear from the man himself, who vows that thing going forward will be much simpler, and that with a new year will come new rules for doing business.  With Jimmy out of the picture and the feud with Manny Horowitz (William Forsythe) settled, we should hope so!

So what will be come of Margaret Thompson, now that she's decide to block Nucky out of his funds to build a new Atlantic City highway?  What will Gillian Darmody and Richard Harrow do without Jimmy?  How will the fugitive Van Alden (Michael Shannon) cope with his new life in Chicago, now that he's set up shop in Al Capone's future stomping grounds?

We know very little about 'Boardwalk Empire' season 3 thus far, only a few snippets of casting, such as character actor (and 'True Blood' guest star) Stephen Root playing a role, and that Paz de la Huerta's character Lucy Danziger will not be returning to the series.  So pour yourself a drink, check out the brand-spanking-new teaser for 'Boardwalk Empire' season 3 below, and let us know what you're most excited to see in the comments!
