The shooting and looting continues for fans of Borderlands 2 thanks to the release of its four, initial add-on campaigns. But these Vault Hunters won't be able to snag a Season Pass for any other upcoming pieces of downloadable content.

According to Polygon, Gearbox Software has stated that it will not be offering a second Season Pass for upcoming content. The developer recently announced that the game will receive a Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 and other pieces of DLC down the line, such as a mission called T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest.

With regard to the Season Pass, Gearbox said, "In April we celebrated the success of Borderlands 2 by thanking our most passionate fans, the Season Pass holders, by including the first Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack in the Season Pass. We were excited to give Season Pass holders $45 of value instead of the original promise of $40. Through the course of our grand experiment, we've also learned that fans are happy with an a la cart menu for DLC because they can pick and choose the content that they most want to buy and really customize their Borderlands 2 experience."

More heads, skins and missions are coming, but no second Season Pass. What do you think about this? What are your thoughts on the upcoming DLC for Borderlands 2? Sound off in the comments!
